The conservationist and television personality, known for his fearless interactions with wildlife, embraces a new form of wildness, posing in underwear alongside venomous snakes, spiders, and lizards.
In a recent interview, Irwin discloses that his decision is motivated by his love for exploring new challenges. “It was a pretty immediate yes,” Irwin said with a laugh.
“I wish I could say I was very suave and cool about the whole thing, but I was like, ‘Yes! Let’s do it!’ Because Bonds in Australia is an absolute icon,” he adds. “Also, I’m at this point in my life where I’m trying to embrace as many different and random exciting experiences as possible, and if it’s something that makes me a little nervous, something I’ve never done before that gives me an adrenaline rush? That’s exactly what I want to pursue,” said the 21-year-old conservationist.

The former zookeeper also shares that he had no hesitation in posing with snakes, lizards, and spiders (Most of which were venomous!) for the “Made for Down Under” campaign.
Irwin sees the campaign as a chance to continue his father’s legacy of animal conservation. He explained, “It’s about finding ways to communicate the wildlife conservation message to new audiences.” Though the ads have a cheeky tone, they serve as a platform to promote awareness for wildlife, which remains central to his family’s mission.
“I’m representing Australia! So I wanted to look my best and to feel my best and just feel really confident. And so I’ve done more sit-ups and had less carbs than I ever have in my life, but it’s been fun…
“At Australia Zoo, our beautiful wildlife sanctuary, it’s great, I’ve got about 700 acres to just run. So I’ve been doing a lot of sprints, a lot of hill sprints,” added the son of legendary ‘Crocodile Hunter’, Steve Irwin.
